Wow! Just, wow! Well, it's what I thought when I finished reading the second installment in the excellent sci fi series, H.A.L.F. In H.A.L.F.: The Makers, author Natalie Wright again takes her readers on a real roller coaster of a ride! Follow the continuing story of Erika Holt, a young woman on the run from Earth in an alien spaceship. Quite the way to spend her senior year, right? Tex has been rescued and has been offered a chance of a life he could never have imagined, but he might have to give up all that is important to him in order to get it. And Jack Wilson is still a captive, but has a chance of freedom that comes with quite a bit of risk. What will become of these three? You'll need to read the book to find out!

I loved H.A.L.F.: The Makers. Loved. It. How's that for a review? Well, it's definitely how I felt about author Natalie Wright's new book. She has done a great job in continuing the stories of characters that her readers have come to care about, and her abilities in world creation are simply second to none. Any reader that enjoys a great work of science fiction, or any reader just looking for an intriguing new work of fiction in general should absolutely read this book. I highly recommend this book, and I look forward to more in this incredibly promising series by author Natalie Wright.

For Jack, Ian and Erika, the world they thought they lived in is no longer all there is. They’ve suddenly been thrown into a world with entirely new aspects. A world where there is highly advanced weaponry, contact with alien races, and a whole lot more. But it’s not just knowing that there are aliens out there that’s the scary part. It’s knowing that those aliens are out to get them and there’s very little they can do about it. With Jack stuck on Earth, attempting to free the woman who’s ordered all their deaths, and Ian and Erika trapped in another world with an alien race attempting to exterminate them, and another alien race on the way … there’s no telling what could happen next in H.A.L.F.: The Makers (Volume 2) by Natalie Wright.

This book was full of action. There were always a lot of things happening and different characters to get to know. Each of them has their own plans and their own interests for the world around them, and that was great to read about. You feel like you really get to know them and it didn’t even matter that I hadn’t read the other books yet. I was able to understand what was happening and I still was able to enjoy this book. Great plot, great characters, and I’ll definitely be checking out even more about them. I’m going to look up the first one now, but I recommend this book to anyone who’s into science fiction because H.A.L.F.: The Makers by Natalie Wright is a great science fiction read.

In a simply excellent new addition to the genre of science fiction written for young adults, H.A.L.F.: The Makers (Volume 2) by author Natalie Wright, readers will be taken on a fantastic adventure. Erika Holt is back in this edition, and she's escaping Earth on an alien ship after narrowly evading death. She has no idea where she might end up, but she hopes it's better than the underground lab that she left. Tex was rescued by the greys, and they seem to be promising him a life beyond compare, but he's not quite sure he can trust them. And Jack Wilson is still the prisoner of Commander Sturgis. He has a chance of escape, but he might be risking everything if he takes it. Will these three survive what they are going through? Only time and this awesome story will tell.

I very much enjoyed H.A.L.F.: The Makers (Volume 2). Author Natalie Wright has a truly unique voice in this genre, and, coming from someone who reads a lot of science fiction, I can honestly say that. Readers who enjoy a creative read, an epic story line, an adventurous and thrilling book, or just piece of science fiction, whether they are young adults or not, will love H.A.L.F.: The Makers (Volume 2). I highly suggest that any such readers pick up this book as soon as possible, but make sure you have enough time to read it from start to finish; you simply won't want to put it down!
