Hart Street and Main is a young adult fantasy novel written by Tabitha Sprunger. King of Sorcerers Clint Teagardin and his wife Trinity Amadori, Queen of the Wood Fairies, leave their royal responsibilities to start a humdrum life in the First World town of Alfaro with their unborn child. Seventeen years later, Skye Hope, a high school student, meets Olli, a foreign exchange student at Black Pine High. Unbeknownst to Skye, Olli Loucentious is the heir to the Gresham lands in the Second World. He is on a mission to seek the Wood Fairy princess and close the last entrance bridging the two worlds. After Skye inadvertently finds herself in the Second World, she must work with Olli and his friends as multiple factions vie for control. Can Skye put her trust in Olli?

Hart Street and Main is a treat for fantasy lovers. Filled with wood fairies, pixies, sorcerers, and a host of other magical creatures, author Tabitha Sprunger's page-turner of a novel transports you to a land of magic and wonder that is as awe-inspiring as it is captivating. Told through multiple POV characters, Sprunger builds a vast and vivid world, weaving an intricate plot filled with romance, magic, political maneuvering, and scheming. Each character has a distinct voice, with plenty of agency and conflict to their actions that make them easy to relate to. The book ends on a cliffhanger, which means there may be sequels on the horizon. I eagerly look forward to reading them if that is indeed the case. Highly recommended to fantasy lovers.
