Trisha Slay grew up in a haunted house ... now she writes about restless spirits.

When she's not hunched over a computer, she enjoys hiking with her husband and rescue dogs, hunting down new ghost stories, exploring historic cemeteries, sampling red wine, and flying her Star Wars geek flag.

At a Las Vegas Party, a chance meeting between a young man and a young woman cause their lives to become intertwined in a campaign against evil in the extraordinary supernatural novella, Haunting Las Vegas (A White Crow Short Story) by Trisha Slay. Jacen became a famous musician overnight and was talked into performing in Las Vegas by his best friend. At a party on his twenty-fifth birthday, Jacen sees Madison across the room. She doesn't seem to belong, and Jacen is intrigued. Madison is a nurse who was coerced into going to a party on her twenty-fifth birthday with her close friend, Hannah. When something traumatic happens at the party, Jacen never wishes to see Madison again. But, somehow, she turns up at the club every night. All Jacen wants is for Madison to go away. He keeps telling her to leave, but she keeps coming back. Why won't she listen? Doesn't she understand there is more at stake than she knows?

Haunting Las Vegas (A White Crow Short Story) by Trisha Slay is truly a tale that haunts you long after you have finished the story. It is a captivating novella with intriguing characters and an outstanding plot. From the very beginning, when Jacen, one of the main characters, is introduced, the story is unsettling. As the plot continues to unfold, a disquieting feeling builds as the story comes to a dramatic climax. The persistent unease accompanies the reader to the smashing finale. It is an outstanding short story with a spooky supernatural flavor that is unforgettable. Those who are fans of The Twilight Zone and Tales From the Darkside will not want to miss this eerie novella.
