Haven’s Heaven by Katie Grant is a wonderful little book that all parents should have in their child’s library. When Haven and her sister are ready for bed and their bedtime story, Haven has a question for her mother: If I let go of a balloon will it go to Heaven? This is only one of many other questions they have before they go to sleep. Many children today have questions as they learn more and more about God and Heaven. Especially if they have lost a friend to illness or an accident, and through this little book, it can help plant the seed of faith.

This is a wonderful little book with some beautiful illustrations throughout. I think my favorite was right at the beginning of the book when according to Haven, “Prayers fly to Heaven on kites." A child’s mind has some wonderful thoughts. Geared to the ages 3-9, I feel like this is a great book if you have small children. Like Haven, many children today have questions and sometimes we are not sure how to answer them. Through their questions, Haven and her sister imagine what Heaven will be like. This little book will soon become a bedtime favorite, and your own child may add his or her own questions to the book. All questions in this book are actual questions that helped to inspire the book. Three charities will be helped through the sale of this book.
