Author Biography

Patricia M Jackson started out life as a farmer's daughter, keeping chickens, selling eggs, growing up in a series of small Minnesotan towns. She's always loved a good book and reads voraciously. She writes romantic fiction and she wants to share her writing with you, because the stories she's telling deserve to be told. She draws inspiration for her novels from real people she's found in researching genealogy or that she's known who lived inspired lives. Those real people deserve to be remembered. We don't always know all of the specifics of their lives, so she weaves their true-to-life details with fiction within a romance. Why romance? Well, because love and romance are universal and a good romance is a great read.

You'll find Patricia M Jackson at home in the metro Minneapolis area where she lives with her husband and her geriatric dog, Charlie. She's probably dreaming of a new love and adventure for characters she can't wait to share with you.

Henrietta: Book #1 in the House of Donato Series by Patricia M Jackson is the story of Etta and Tom, two people from two very different walks of life who end up together because it was meant to be. Etta did not have an easy life. She had to work hard to complete college and move forward. In an effort to leave her past behind and move on to a healthier life, she relocated to Lake Superior in the hopes of jump-starting her writing career.

Tom once had had a great future, a bright future. A star in the NHL, his world came crashing down when a career ending injury did just that. It was as if the purpose of his life ended. Now he is on his way to rebuilding his life, any way he could. The two of them did not realize that once they became friends, they would help each other; of course, they also had the help of a long-lost friend.

Oh boy, Henrietta was such a beautiful, amazing novel. I really love novels where someone from the past is retelling their story, which leads to the present finding love and happiness. Henrietta was this and so much more. The whole novel had charm and character that you cannot resist. The story is powerful and so are the characters. Etta is one smooth girl and Tom is an awesome man. Well, there is something to say about sportsmen, and Tom is a hunky sportsman. This is a 5 star novel!
