An amazing compilation of photography, poetry, drawings, narratives, real-life events, and more, Her World: Creative Collections by Her Place Any Region brings together the thoughts and experiences of women from different parts of the world. The collection is divided into six categories: dejection, survival, hope, healing, salubrity, and love. I Will Never Allow is a poem in the first part, dejection. It carries a passionate message of growth and setting limits: “I will never allow your darkness to dim my light. I will allow my growth to help you blossom.” In Some of You May Know, Lorelai Vilandre shares her struggle with depression and her healing journey in healing, the fourth part of the collection. Exploring light-hearted discussions such as childhood memories and tough topics like cancer, the compilation will resonate with many women.

I loved that Her World is not only restricted to prose but includes photography and art that brighten the pages and that add to the messages. The collection is extensive and opening a new page felt like I was moving to another engaging experience. I also liked that the collection involves the perspectives and experiences of women from different parts of the world. The similarities and unity in their thoughts and experiences were other amazing aspects of the work. The collection also discusses important topics such as sexual abuse, anxiety and depression, ADHD, childhood trauma, and more in a sensitive way. Her World by Her Place Any Region is a vast and inspiring collection that brings attention to crucial issues. It also contains special moments and incredible insight.

Her World: Creative Collections is a collaborative book that holds within its pages poetry, photographs, artwork, book excerpts, and prose created by Her Place Any Region, women spanning the entire globe. Glimpses of heartache, illness, and the tragedies that come into our lives are all presented in Her World. One of the particular pieces that resonated came from the poem “Fate Rips You Apart” by Rose Dilonez on page 7: “Fate ripped you apart…/Coinciding with my victim thoughts…” Those words are very visual and the poem created a bit of a wormhole effect, as though you could step in and see everything that had transpired and was felt.

Her World, written and created by a myriad of talented women, really hits home. It puts you dead center in the varying existences that each woman views. The physical pieces throughout Her World ground you in your present surroundings while at the same time push you into the creative space of the artists. There is an added mystery behind the pieces, making you wonder what each one means to the creator, and who doesn’t love a good mystery? The pages where prose resides is a place that almost anyone can relate to. As human beings, either gender can experience love, heartache, and illness. And Her World is a compilation of all things female that should be shared with all who inhabit the world as a way to get a new insight into what the female mind and body go through. Her World is a collaboration of life and it makes you want to live.

Her World: Creative Collections is a work of non-fiction on the theme of women’s narratives and experiences, and it was put together by Her Place Publishing with a total of 33 different authors within. Exploring viewpoints that take us around the world to hear these many voices and representations, the collected works include media such as poetry, prose, excerpts from larger books, autobiographical writing, and photographic and artistic inserts. What results is a holistic view of womanhood and shared experiences, but one which also explores the details of life’s journey and the expression of the female heart and mind.

Her Place Any Region has done a fantastic job in curating this unique collection of artists and their various expressions, and there isn’t a moment in the entire work which is not interesting, uplifting, and emotive. One of the things I enjoyed most in the curation is its organizational flow, which takes us through different chapters of experience from Dejection through to Survival, Hope, Healing, Salubrity, and Love. Though there is some usage of explicit language in parts, the collection as a whole has an uplifting atmosphere and a mission to showcase the full diverse spectrum of womanhood across the globe, but also the similarities and affinities that we, as women, feel. One of my particular favorites was the poem Spacebook Moonboots by author Qi Chi, which was both purposeful and empowering. Overall, I would highly recommend Her World: Creative Collections to any reader who appreciates a fine and high-quality curation of different art formats: a powerful read indeed.

Her World: Creative Collections by Her Place Any Region is an inspiring collection of heartfelt personal experiences, poetry, and stories by women for women. The subjects covered are vast and varied but each will embolden women to be the best they can be while boosting their self-worth. From dealing with emotional and mental issues to philosophy, relationships, and spirituality, there is an abundance of enlightenment throughout. You will discover the importance of living your life authentically and choosing your own unique path in life. How can we live our lives with confidence and courage through adversity and troubled times? How can we see the bright light when all seems dark? These women's words will speak to you on a deep, meaningful level that you can apply to your own personal circumstances. 'I’ve taken my life back some, watch out, life, because here I come!' - Mallory Bever and Lorelai Vilandre

Her World by Her Place Any Region is a brilliant selection of work by some brave and talented women. This is the kind of book that you can pick up every day for those words of wisdom and golden nuggets of encouragement. There are so many subjects covered but each is written with so much heart and honesty, you feel they were written for you. You are encouraged to own your feelings, take responsibility for your own happiness and decisions, and not rely on outside influencers. To be brave and trust your gut instinct and not be afraid to choose yourself over others at times. The contributors to this book have faced some pretty horrendous situations and the way they reflect upon them is so uplifting. I read some sections of the book with a smile on my face, nodding in agreement, and others with tears in my eyes. A definite guide for every woman, especially those who are just about to embark on their adult journey. The line from One Drop, 'Here I find myself again, At the mercy of my own judgment,' is now on my kitchen noticeboard.

Who are we? How do we define ourselves? Women around the world from many different backgrounds and so many different challenges. Life can be difficult, challenging, but in the end we need to find the power within ourselves to define who we are. Why? For our own self-preservation if for nothing else. And how can we do this? How can we define ourselves? By being what we are meant to be – ourselves as a writer, as an artist, as a songwriter, as a woman of many talents. And through the trials of dealing with love and pain, abuse, and the mere struggle of survival, with hope and healing we can come out the other end, stronger and more vibrant.

Her Place Any Region’s book, Her World: Creative Collections, is a collection of women’s creativity from around the world. Through poetry, short stories, songs, photography, sculpture, painting, these women have brought their challenges and triumphs together into one collection to inspire so many of us. What resonates for me from this collection is the words of Lee Ann Medina: “Love like you have never loved before,/ Sing like you have never sung before,/ Dance like you have never danced before/ And most of all, BE like you have never been before!” The book is divided into sections: Dejection, Survival, Hope, Healing, Salubrity, and Love. Each section contains a collection of stories, poems, songs, and artwork that express a wide variety of emotions and challenges, from unrequited love to abuse to battling cancer and so much more. This is a very heartwarming collection of expressive voices, creative visions.
