Link Thompson honors God in his book, Honoring Our Creator. It is one life story that talks about the power and beauty of choice. In the author’s preface, he writes that the Creator gave man two simple choices: Go positive or negative. He gives an advanced reminder to those who have chosen to go negative that they can skip the book. For the rest who choose the positive, the book is an invitation to tap into the voice within your inner spirit. Through the analogy of following the trail of the donkey, the book is divided into five scenes tracing the author’s views on monotheism and attempts at answering who is our father—a question from which all religions evolved. This is not a critique of organized religions. The main idea here is about how choice provides us with the opportunity to measure the Creator’s goodness.

We all make choices in our lives daily. We are all given the power to choose, and it is in our best interests to use it wisely. Link Thompson, through his own experience and observations, gives us an example of how he maximizes this power as a tool for self-development and how his experiences have brought him to where he is now in life. One of the great things about Honoring Our Creator is that it has a reassuring voice. If you do not like the place where you are in life right now, it is possible to change it. As Thompson stresses, the Creator has provided transmutable energy within our universe, something that we can transform and apply to re-frame ourselves in a better life and have a more meaningful existence. It is an inspiring story for anyone who enjoys reading about spirituality and for those in need of change.
