HOP STOP & GO: Fascinating Encounters With People Around The World by Utpal K Dutta is a captivating collection of the places visited by the author during his travels around the world. The journey takes readers to various fascinating destinations; India, USA, Mexico, England, France, Russia, Myanmar, Japan, and Thailand. The book captures the sights and sounds, essence, customs, and cultures of these countries and will encourage readers to travel to new lands and explore and experience the novelty of the places. As we all know, the world is an interesting place and the author speaks about his lasting learning experiences and interactions with people from diverse cultures through this book. For all those who love traveling and people, this book will put a smile on their faces.

The book is lively with its descriptions of places, interactions with people, the lifestyle, and culture, but what I liked most about it is the way the author has created a sense of oneness by looking as the world as one whole. The detailed descriptions coupled with illustrations give readers wonderful insights about the places visited by the author, and also capture the diversity of places and their cultures beautifully. Love traveling? Love to learn about new places? Then this book will definitely entertain by speaking about the amazing variety that the world has to offer everyone. The quote ‘Collect only memories, not things’ (Anon) works perfectly here and is what makes this book memorable to readers.
