How Olly Met His New Family by Silviya Rankova is the cutest story about Danny and his family getting a new cat as their family pet. Danny was somewhat confused at first about being around a new pet that would share his home, but he quickly saw how fun and funny this new little furry friend would be. Olly made himself at home as he explored, finding hiding places, his new litter box and where his food would be, though playing with Danny and his toys wasn't something Olly enjoyed so much. But there are other things Olly and Danny enjoy doing together throughout this book.

I enjoyed How Olly Met His New Family by Silviya Rankova. I love cats and Olly comes from a beautiful breed of cats. It was interesting to learn more about the Maine Coon breed and its beauty. This sweet little book is something your child will love. Reading about Olly the cat and his fun and silly ways will have children giggling and saying 'funny kitty', just as Danny did. How Olly Met His New Family is the perfect book to help children adjust to a new pet in the home. And the illustrations by Olsi Tola are precious. I love the bright vibrant cover and can see a child grabbing this book from the shelf. Each page of pictures fits the words on the adjoining page so very well. I think How Olly Met His New Family should be everywhere children are. It is perfect for any daycare, preschool, elementary and other libraries for children. I strongly encourage you to pick up a copy of this book, and maybe give a copy to your child's daycare or preschool.
