Author Biography

Uchenna Umeh MD or Dr. Lulu is a veteran pediatrician and a United States Air Force Veteran.
She discovered her passion for writing at a very early age while growing up in Nigeria.
In 2018, after observing a hike in suicide cases in children, one of them her own beloved patient, she quit her day job, launched her official writing career and started speaking about Youth Suicide,
She has now dedicated her life to spreading awareness for suicide in children.
She blogs at Words by Black Butterfly, and her podcast is aptly called Suicide Pages.
She lives in San Antonio Texas.

This book will help parents understand their children better as it discusses the 16 guiding principles required to teach children so that they grow up to become well rounded and resilient individuals, less judgmental and more mindful. Raising children nowadays has become very challenging and this book addresses queries about how to raise and empower kids so that they grow up to be the best version of themselves.

The author speaks extensively about a topic that is relevant. The tips and tools shared by her in the book are easy for readers to comprehend and incorporate when it comes to dealing with children, making parenting fun and rewarding. Reading this book will make parents wiser and the task of bringing up children will seem less daunting and more engaging. It is a must-read for all parents and also for those who are planning to become parents.
