Author Biography

EJ lives in Massachusetts and works full time in customer service. "Etiquette As I Learned It" and "I'm Engaged! Now What?" are the result of a long time love of etiquette rules and manners, as well as a desire to help others answer those difficult questions.

EJ is one of six sisters and part of a large family. This has no doubt contributed to a lifetime habit of giving out advice.

Her third book, "Things Every Goddess Should Know (and we are all goddesses)", is now available. You don't have to be perfect to be a goddess. The goddesses in mythology where usually pretty messed up in many ways. Being a goddess is about finding your potential; not being perfect.

I’m Engaged! Now What?: The Beginner's Guide To Wedding Planning by EJ Divitt is a detailed guide on what happens after you get that special ring on your finger. There is so much to plan and consider, some of which is obvious like booking a venue and buying your dress, but there are plenty of other things that you may not have considered. There are detailed lists including your clothing items for the big day. There are some good money tips too, including how it would not be a good idea to borrow the money for the wedding as a loan, especially if you have other bills to consider or are thinking of purchasing your first home. If you have a parent willing to pay then great, but if not you will have to finance the wedding yourself so it may be a good idea to open a wedding savings account.

EJ Divitt has included some excellent information in I’m Engaged! Now What? The book could be used as a checklist as you go through the run up to the wedding. The author also includes a handy list of questions that you might want to discuss with your other half, such as where do you want to live? Questions on compatibility are better asked before you take a huge step like getting married. I think this book would do very well on the market. It’s easy to read through and does contain some very useful advice that could prevent some catastrophes as the big day approaches.
