Imagine God by H. Eric Fearman offers insight to the spiritual power within us. Pastor Fearman reminds readers that God created each of us. That includes our imagination. Too often we ignore our imagination. Perhaps as we age we think we should leave our imagination behind but that is so wrong. It is through imagination that medical cures are found, churches are built and inventions come to be. God speaks to us through our dreams, visions and imaginations. Too often we utter the words, “it is a figment of the imagination” instead of realizing that our imaginations are that deep part of us that fellowship with God.

The imagination is good but Satan can access our imagination. Often it can be difficult to discern whether we are hearing God’s voice, our own desires, or Satan’s temptation. We must fill our lives with God’s Word so that there is no room for Satan to enter in. We need to not only read God’s Word but meditate on it.

Imagine God is well written and organized. Pastor Fearman’s point of view is very interesting and gave me a lot of ponder. God has often spoken to me through dreams and visions so I have no trouble believing what Fearman purports. The cover of this book is nicely done. There is a silhouette of a man with his hand held high, possibly in praise or possibly to connect to the bright light that I interpret to be the power of the Spirit.
