Derrick Walton is a man on a mission, with a deadline. After losing his wife and finding out that he himself is seriously ill, he travels to Arizona to re-evaluate his life, rest, and try to find a purpose. At the same time, Larissa Baxter, the daughter of a friend, is falsely arrested for murdering her husband and Derrick devises a plan to rescue her from what seems to be a sure conviction. His less than well thought out plan begins to fall apart and has to be revised on the run, more than once. While in hiding, Larissa is forced to trust a stranger and in the process learns about faith, unconditional love, and second chances. Derrick has rescued Larissa and the time may come when she will need to rescue him. Can they avoid capture long enough for the truth to be revealed?
