Ruth adopted Libby Anderson after the death of her mother, Amanda Taylor, in Intuition by Scott W. Sonne. Libby gets nightmares related to the severe trauma her mother experienced while she was still unborn. Her mother was extraordinarily bright and was recruited by Quantum Industries to work for them. Libby scored above average on a test in Grade 1 but when she redid the test, her score was ordinary. This caught the attention of Adam Durant and Agents Blunt and Gray were sent to find her. Tom Grant went to work for Quantum Industries after his father passed away. Dr. Krell stole his algorithm and changed it to use as his own. After an argument with Durant, Tom was told to leave the building and not come back again. He was assaulted on his way home and suffered severe brain trauma.

The plot is very complex yet it is easy to follow. There were a few stories intertwined that came together in the end. Intuition by Scott W. Sonne is fast-paced and full of action. The suspense kept me on the edge of my seat; I could not put it down. I just kept turning the pages; I had to know what was going to happen next. There never was a dull moment and the chapters flowed together. The characters were excellently developed, and I could relate to them. Each main character had a chapter dedicated to them in which they and their background were described. I enjoyed getting to know each character separately and the way everyone comes together. Intuition was excellently written. It was nothing like I anticipated and it exceeded my expectations.
