Irish Magic is a work of quirky romantic comedy fiction penned by author Susan B. James. Written for more mature readers due to two moderate sexual scenes, this charming and highly enigmatic tale uses a little fantasy fun and plenty of bright and breezy Irish culture to whisk its readers away. Part leprechaun Bradley Flynn has a duty to find true love for Kate, and in doing so he employs the help of a former matchmaker. Bringing Kate together with the reluctant and still heartbroken doctor Michael is far from easy, but the more their paths cross, the less these two lost souls can stay out of one another’s way.

Author Susan B. James has crafted a truly heart-warming and really enjoyable romance with plenty of amusement and light fantasy hijinks to keep readers turning pages. The character development for the central pair is intelligently designed, unveiling little snippets of their true personalities as we see both Kate and Michael let down their guard and discover how much they have in common. What results is a romance that resonates on the physical and the emotional level, and it really is a pleasure to see the ways in which life (and a little leprechaun help) keeps throwing them together. Overall, I would highly recommend Irish Magic to all types of romance fans for its well-crafted plot, the emotional depth of its central pairing, and the utterly charming wit and wisdom of Ireland which runs deep between these entertaining pages.
