Jehvon was woken up in the middle of the night by his mummy who told him they were going to Jamaica, a beautiful island in the Caribbean. Mummy told him she loved the place and so would he. She told Jehvon that his grandparents grew up there and it was part of their culture. Jehvon was excited as they boarded the flight and he thought it was the loudest sound he had ever heard when the pilot started the engine. Their cousin Cory picked them up when they landed and drove them in his pick-up truck. Jehvon met a lot of his cousins at his Auntie's house and they all played together. Jehvon played a lot of games and he enjoyed cricket. Let's read the story to discover what else Jehvon did to enjoy his holidays in Jamaica.

Jehvon Goes to Jamaica by Natasha N. Brown is a delightful story that will take young readers along with Jehvon to enjoy the sights and sounds of Jamaica. The illustrations in the book are colorful and bright and they breathe life into the characters and the scenes. It is a good book for children to learn more about Jamaica and its culture in an entertaining way and that makes it a perfect story for parents and tutors to use for read-aloud and storytelling sessions at home and in classrooms.
