Jim's Flight: One Soul's Perspective from Heaven by Christine Frank Petosa and Elizabeth Williams is an unusual story of love, of life, and of hope. This is a story about the power of love and the truth about life beyond the grave. This is a book that answers one of the questions that troubles the human mind: what happens after we pass on? Jim died after suffering from cancer, leaving his soul mate, Christine Petosa behind, but then he continued to share a powerful, spiritual communion with her. This book documents messages he shares through her — using Elizabeth Williams as a medium.

James Petosa introduces himself at the start of the story: “My name is James Petosa and I’m speaking to you through the medium Elizabeth Williams. Elizabeth and I were introduced shortly after I was diagnosed with esophageal cancer at age 47. I left my body at age 49. All of my words and reflections in this book were channeled through Elizabeth by me three years after my physical death.” From then on, the reader is led on a spiritual journey with Jim, a journey in which he offers powerful insights on the reality of heaven, on the power of love, and speaks words that are healing and uplifting.

I found this book to be very inspirational, one that everyone needs to read. I enjoyed the relationship between Jim and Christine, a love which is even stronger beyond the grave. This book is a spiritual classic, a book that defies the rules of organized religion, and points us towards dread truths about what we are called to be and where we are called to be. There were moments when I felt the tears in my eyes — tears of joy — as I read some of the enlivening passages. Jim's Flight: One Soul's Perspective from Heaven will change the way most of us look at relationships, life and death. It’s a book that calls on each of us to embrace life with gratitude and to live it with hope.

I felt the same way as the reviewer when I read Jim's Flight and was so grateful for the connection from this side of the veil to the other. Chris and Jim's love story continued beyond death and I was so grateful that Elizabeth Williams was available to bring Jim's experience from the other side forward, and that Chris Petosa showed us all the dimensions of a relationship -- difficult, joyful and hope filled lives.

I ordered Jim's Flight from Amazon after the loss of a dear friend. When I started reading it I couldn't put it down until I had finished reading the entire book. It was such a great book. I laughed, I cried, it was so emotional. The way Chris Petosa told the story with the help of her dearly departed husband Jim ( a pilot ) and Elizabeth Williams ( a medium ) was nothing short of truly amazing, it changed my outlook on life. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for something very different and extremely spiritual. It's a wonderful book.
