Author Biography

I am Lorraine Griffith better known as Littlewolf a name given to me by my mother when I was approx. 5 years old.
I am the eldest of 15 siblings.

I grew up during the 1940' when you had to stand in line for hours to get food stamps to feed your family in those days.

My biggest thrill back then was staying at Mama Watts big old brick house just off of Main street.where I could sleep in a bed by myself with clean white sheets and and thought I was in heaven.

She taught me that there was more to life than
the way my family lived. she introduced me to books and I became what my folks called a dreamer thinking things that only happened in books could never happen to me.

Aunt Hallie use to tell me I could be anything I wanted to be if I could just get away and learn what was on the other side of the country.

In time I met my husband Gene who spent 30 years in the Marine Corp.
We traveled all over the U.S. from Base to base. During this time we had 5 wonderful children 4 boys and one beautiful daughter All who are grown now and have their own families. They too went into the military,as did some of our grandchildren.

Over the years with the encouragement of my husband I finished high school took many college courses, worked in the electronics field, became a master beautitician, owned my own detective agency and even ran for
county commissioner in Alabama.

We raised wolves.I paint in oils and still continue writing about my dreams that my dad said couldn't ever happen.

"Katie and Spirit Wolf: The Spirit World Does Exist" is an excellent story that reads much like a folk tale. Author Littlewolf Griffith, aka, Lorraine Griffith, has lived a unique life in both the white man’s world and the Native American world. She is very familiar with the spiritual realm of the Native American people. Through her travels she met shamans from various tribes, each of whom was willing to share much with her concerning the spiritual realm. Littlewolf has seen and conversed with spirits. She brings her vast experience of the spiritual world, her psychic abilities and her time as a private detective to this plot. I find her life fascinating and wish she would write her memoirs. Her main character Kate Cody Private Detective has a lot of the author embedded in his characteristics.

In this story Private Detective Kate Cody is assisting the police in a puzzling mystery. She found herself turning to her old friend Mama Blue, an Indian Elder. Mama Blue lived in the Blue Ridge Mountain. As Kate drove through the mountains she spotted an unusual sight, a wolf standing on hind legs. The wolf communicated with her never moving his lips. After reassuring her that there was no need to be afraid, he urged her to follow quickly for Mama Blue knew she was coming and was eagerly expecting her. The story continues with Mama Blue assisting in solving the mystical puzzle.

Littlewolf Griffith's is a fascinating story. I enjoyed the Native American aspects of this tale.

At first I wasn't to sure about this book because it was a small book.
But I was surprised when I started to read it.
I couldn't put it down. I'd lay it down and start to do something else but I would think about the book and just had to go back and read it some more.
I couldn't wait to get to the next page.
I give this bookk 5 stars. Its that good.
