Award-winning author, Robert Thornhill, began writing at the age of 66 after a 36 year career in real estate. In seven years, he has published 24 novels in the Lady Justice series, the seven volume Rainbow Road series of chapter books for children, a cookbook and a mini-autobiography.

Lady Justice and the Ghost Whisperer by Robert Thornhill – no surprise to his fans – is another home run in the Lady Justice series of comedy/mystery stories by this talented author. Beginning with a vignette from the early Civil War days, we are introduced to Andy and Mandy Beecher, two innocent victims of that shameful time in American history. As their part in the story comes to a close, we transition to today’s world, where we meet another Mandy Beecher, the great-great-granddaughter of the original Ms. Beecher. As the story unfolds, we are treated to some very intriguing historical events which overlap with the present, but you’ll have to read the story for yourself to find out more. I’m not going to give away anything that might deprive you of an excellent and entertaining read.
Lady Justice and the Ghost Whisperer, like each of the stories in this series, masterfully blends at least three fascinating subplots, only tangentially related, but fully captivating and thought-provoking. And, as always, at least some of the action is straight out of today’s news headlines. Mr. Thornhill is uniquely capable of combining humor, an unlikely cast of realistically believable characters, and fresh drama into a story you won’t want to put down until you reach the final page. When you do reach that final page, you will enjoy a sense of satisfaction in how the conflicts were resolved, and most certainly will know you got your money’s worth with your purchase of the book. I cannot adequately express how much I’ve enjoyed each of the stories in this series. About all I can do is offer my heartiest recommendation to one and all; read Lady Justice and the Ghost Whisperer. You will be glad you did. More than that, you will enjoy a sense of contentment for having experienced the story.
