Lady Preacher by Brenda Carradine is about women preachers who are called to preach about God. The book speaks about how initially this post is accepted with a lot of reluctance due to doubts of being able to be eligible and qualified to preach. This book can be seen as a starter for women who want to get into it. These are people chosen by God to spread the message and it is a call of the divine. The book also tells you how to manage your life as a preacher, mother, wife, and daughter. The book tells you that by choosing this post, you move closer to God.

I found the book profound and intensely focused. Not many of us get the divine calling and so it is a very enriching book for all women. The book is a guide also for many women working in the ministry. The author throws light on the various areas of the ministry which people do not know about. The author’s experiences, ideologies, and observations are all valuable to the reader.

Lady Preacher can be used as a guide for everyone who believes in the power of God. The lessons are not complicated or difficult. The messages are simple and anyone can understand what the author wants to convey. God’s grace, compassion, and love for all is discussed in detail here and the duties of those in the ministry are very clearly described in the book.
