Author Biography

The inspiration to write this book was to finally say enough is enough. Sharing my experiences in life will ring true with many readers, although mine was one after another. This book was written during the lowest period that anyone can go thru, but I had inspiration and I had a belief that my life was worth sharing and inspiring others that no matter what happens, you can succeed.

Timothy's world of participating in any form of sports came to a sudden end after an ill-fated practice session of soccer. He could've given up right then and there, but his competitive spirit brought him back to the world of sports in no time at all, participating in "non-contact sports" such as cross country running and track. Unfortunately for Timothy, the thing that we call life would have plenty more negatives running his way. His brother, who did a lot of wrongs and hardly got punished for it, angered him just because of it. Timothy somehow found himself spending three months in jail, and after he became a free man again, a promising business venture was quickly eradicated. For Timothy, overcoming life's obstacles was the ultimate competition to win.

To truly relate, enjoy, and understand Timothy Patrick's biography Life...A Fickle Mistress, you'll have to be one of those people that experiences one piece of bad luck after another. To the man and woman who know only the good variety of luck, each obstacle that life places in Timothy's way might be a tad comedic. Raised by foster parents, the stuff he experiences throughout his life is bad, but it's not the badness of it that made me feel sorry for the author, but the amount of times that the author has had things go terribly wrong for him. With clear and comprehensible writing, he paints this picture of a being abundantly diddled by life. I recommend it to readers who often wonder about the fairness of life.
