"Life Lessons from the Chocolate Factory: 10 Rich, Satisfying Nuggets to Nibble On" written by Christopher Holl is a book that will give you a new perspective on everyday life using lessons from the classic "Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory." This book is divided into ten chapters, each chapter focusing on a lesson. Each lesson is thought-provoking and filled with examples and teachable moments drawn not only from the movie, but from other movies, books, and people. The first chapter focuses on moments of decisions, how in one moment the decision that is made will impact your life, determine what path is taken and can also impact others around you. Other chapters focus on not giving up, but to keep trying, working through the "whys" that are holding you back from doing something, how choices and behaviors lead to habits, and not having a revenge mindset.

I was intrigued by the title as I love chocolate and have always been a fan of "Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory." I was not disappointed when I began reading this book! Holl has a great style of writing as I was immediately drawn into the book. It was easy to follow and it was an enjoyable book to read. I want to watch this movie again as Holl has pointed out many things from the movie and pulled life lessons out of it so that I have a whole new perspective on it! Overall, I found this book to be very motivating, encouraging and thought provoking. This would be an excellent book for graduates to read, or for someone who is thinking about switching jobs or thinking about starting a business or trying something new or someone who needs a little encouragement as this book is filled with little morsels to think about and be encouraged by!
