'Life, Love, and the Power of Perspective: One man's awakening to the way the world REALLY works' by Tim C. Star is the story of the author and how an incident in the weekend helped him change his outlook on life forever. It is a semi-autobiographical and semi-fictional story which describes the author's views on how the world works. Tim Star, the author, finds himself without a job one fine morning. With two mortgages, a car payment, and the other routine expenses, he refuses to get depressed or feel low. He tells readers to have an open mind to grab the possibilities and opportunities around them. Instead of brooding, he decided to look at the world in a different light. The concepts presented in this book are the ones that worked for the author and he decided to share it with readers. The tips for improving relationships, appearance, and finances are helpful and it tells us how to grab at the opportunities available around us.

There are lots of opportunities available in the world which many a time we are not able to utilize because of our demotivating mindset. The author has a Blue Collar Breakthrough course which guides people with a series of lessons, enabling them to face the world with confidence. I recommend the book for everyone because it is uplifting and motivating. It is helpful in changing your thinking process and, as the author puts it: "The process is very much like tuning a radio."
