Life of The Impersonators: The Beach is the third novel in the Life of the Impersonator’s Collection Series by Golden November. G and JBT thought they had said goodbye to being book hunters, but the book hunter life calls them back. Wanting a break, the iconic duo planned on going on a weekend trip filled with fun and adventure time between the two friends. However, before they knew it, they picked up a new client who offered them the adventure of a lifetime. So back again with the book hunting business, G and JBT started the research and usual shenanigans without realizing that the new case could be their toughest yet. When things spiraled out of control, G and JBT were left scrambling to find a balance between their jobs as actors and book hunters. Could the duo work their magic, get the job done, and get back to their cushy life on set?

At this point, whenever I see a novel by Golden November, I pick it up without even reading the blurb. Golden November has become one of my all-time favorite authors, and there is a reason for that. His stories are complete, concise, and contagiously fun to read. This third installment in the Life of the Impersonators series was worth all of the hype that I had built in my mind. G and JBT were perfect as expected. The dialogues between them were quick-witted, chaotic, and hilarious to say the least. The constant tension to figure out a way to get the new book hunting job done and get back to their lives on set was a nice detail. Plus, readers get to meet some favorite characters such as Click Clack, Flower Rose, Asterick, Jillian, and more. Somehow, I could see the teamwork between G and JBT much better. They worked fluidly with one another, and because of that, the story moved fluidly as well. All in all, this is the perfect Golden November novel you want to start your year with.

Life of the Impersonators: The Beach by Golden November returns once again to follow the adventures of rare book hunters and best friends, G and JBT. After seemingly retiring in the previous installment, G and JBT take up another case where they snatch a rare book from a nefarious collector named Mark. However, unbeknownst to them, a man named Miles Senior arrives on the scene and starts buying land all across Milestoneville Mountain, with a particular eye on Click Clack's patch of land. Moreover, with his wife, he opens up a studio called Brandy Candy Milestoneville TV to rival Channel 1994. G and JBT must now prevent Miles Junior from getting his hands on their mine as well as controlling every aspect of the lives of the people of Milestoneville.

This is the third installment of the Life of the Impersonators series I've read, and G and JBT's adventures are a blast to read as always. Author Golden November continues to blend fast-paced adventure tales with mystery and intrigue to keep you hooked throughout the pages. G and JBT's brotherly dynamic is as fun and entertaining as ever, and new characters join the story to add to the ever-growing world. One of the things that make Life of the Impersonators: The Beach an immersive read is the inclusion of photographs that accompany the relevant storylines. Additionally, the experimental narrative style grows on you the further you read. It's an acquired taste, but one that should definitely appeal to readers who enjoy fun-filled adventure tales.

In Life of the Impersonators: The Beach, author Golden November has adopted a very unusual way of writing this story which takes place in the current era. The main characters are G, JBT (Jimbo), Lisa, Smith, Date, Harry, Miles Senior, Click Clack, Asterisk, Bridget, Miles Senior's new wife, and then there are the characters that are standing in Miles Senior’s way of achieving his ultimate goal - Jolanderline, Charles Junior, Delores, Cliff, Flower Rose, Michelle, and Thorpe Miles Senior’s son who he had with his childhood sweetheart Lucille.

When you first start reading, it seems that you are eavesdropping on a private conversation between the main characters and those around them or those they have to meet to sort out other people's problems. Golden November shows how eavesdropping can be dangerous when the whole story is not known. It causes a bit of confusion at first but then you find yourself reading further to find out what is going on and why the main two characters, G and JBT (Jimbo), do what they do and have these most amazing conversations with Click Clack a lot of the time. Golden November has written a humorous, slightly confusing, and interesting book. It holds your atttention from the time you read the first page to the time you read the last page. It is light-hearted, a good laugh, and it shows that people will do anything to get their way, especially when they are bored. A good, relaxing read. Life of the Impersonators: The Beach is well written.
