Can you turn the things that are hindering you into greatness? Yes, Maria Blon has taken her passion for life and turned it into a collection of stories from twenty-one other authors who have turned their obstacles into passion. In her audio book, Living Passionately, Maria opens with her story and then she introduces you to the other authors. As you hear each author tell their own story, from different experiences and backgrounds, you will begin to feel the passion of the author. In Living Passionately by Maria Blon, you will find people from Haiti and those whose passion has taken them abroad, to those who have worked with Habitat for Humanity. Listen to Shad St. Louis whose motto is: “Education is key to freedom.” Sheila Pearl gives a musical expression to her story, with a backdrop of the song Somewhere Over the Rainbow, whose motto is: “Everything is on loan. The only certainty in life is uncertainty. Get into the river and let go of the shore.” Some of the other authors include Vilma Fyke, Alison Orlando, Brian Baird, Dechen Rheault, Wendy Blanchard, Charles Yarnold, and Dr. Bradley Nelson, author of The Emotion Code. After each story, Maria incorporates a notice of reflection to help you begin the journey to living your life passionately by making a difference.
I find Living Passionately by Maria Blon to be full of inspiration because her words heal and inspire. Following your passion can be risky, lonely and takes a lot of drive. As you begin to hear the stories of each person in their own voices, you can hear the emotion and zeal of what they experienced to get to their destination by helping others. Helping others helps us to better appreciate and understand the path that we were predestined to lead. If you are ready for a change and want to live life to its fullest, Living Passionately by Maria Blon is for you.
