After years of reading books and watching movies with an element of romance, Deborah M. Piccurelli’s desire to write romance novels came naturally. She is active in her church and is an advocate for sanctity of life. Deborah is the author of two novels, a novella and several cause-related newspaper articles. She is a member of American Christian Fiction Writers, and the New Jersey Society of Christian Writers. Love Comes Calling is a wonderful, inspiring, faith driven love story. Deborah M. Piccurelli has written a feel good book that is impossible not to enjoy. Charlie Parker loved to dance and had her life planned around the ballet until the unfortunate day that Derek Spencer got drunk and caused a car accident. Charlie was young and beautiful before that awful day, one that changed her life and left her face scarred and her self confidence gone. Derek has become a Christian believer since the accident and wants nothing more than forgiveness for the pain that he has caused. When Derek finally gets the courage to face Charlie, he is mistaken for a home improvement contractor and from there everything goes a little crazy. Derek prays for the answer how to explain his true purpose about himself to Charlie. She is happy but confused, and prays for the reasons he would possibly be interested in her. The ups and downs of their friendship cause happiness, sorrow, tears and joys until a final showdown occurs.
Deborah M. Piccurelli writes with just enough prayer and God to make it real without overdoing. Love Comes Calling has a perfect combination of romance and Christianity with likeable characters and a good plot. It was easy to become a part of the book and cheer on both Derek and Charlie. Love Comes Calling is a great book for both young and old and would make a fabulous Lifetime movie. Love Comes Calling is a winner that will leave you smiling and feeling warm and fuzzy.
