Author Biography

Writing Heaven’s touch into earthly tales, Delia Latham puts her characters through the fire of earthly trials to bring them out victorious by the hand of God, His heavenly messengers, and good, old-fashioned love. You’ll always find a touch of the divine in her tales of sweet romance.
Delia and her husband Johnny live in East Texas, where their pampered Pomeranian, Kona, kindly allows them to share her home. The author enjoys multiple life roles as wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, but above all, she loves being a princess daughter to the King of kings. She admits to a lifelong, mostly unbattled Dr. Pepper addiction, and loves hearing from her readers.

Love Sweet Love: A Valentine Romance Collection is a set of five inspiring romance novels. The characters are well developed and capture your interest from beginning to end. Love, romance, forgiveness, trust, second chances…it’s all here in this charming set of romantic adventures. Throughout each story is the common thread of faith and trust in God.

Like A Dance by Delia Latham takes us back to Hummingbird Hollow to experience the awe of this ethereal place. Teela Vincent and Booth Meadows had a brief encounter at Inn the Hollow that neither has forgotten. Six months later, both have returned to the inn, unbeknownst to the other. This time Teela has brought her three-year-old daughter, Kinsley. Delia Latham provides another journey to the magical place of Hummingbird Hollow and beyond. As her characters explore new feelings and possibilities, Delia allows us to witness Teela and Booth’s romantic journey as they take “…a walk with God.”

Her Valentine Vet (Cider Lake Series) by Dora Hiers is a sentimental journey worth taking. Micaela Stanford, director of the local animal shelter in Cider Lake, and heir to the Kingsley Hotel dynasty, tries to live a quiet life devoted to animals in need. Murphy Denton is the new vet in town. Their first encounter is a blunder on Murphy’s part and Micaela’s initial impression is that the doc is “wounded,” like some of the animals she has rescued. Dora Hiers delivers a fast-paced, well-written love story with campfires, hot chocolate and fur babies along the way – what’s not to love? Never neglected by Dora is the reminder of the importance of a relationship with Christ at the center of our lives.

Good Breaks by Zoe M. McCarthy is an endearing story of romance, and more. Jassie Kinnamon, a mammography technician, first noticed Connor Noble when he was giving ski lessons to a group of children. Zoe M. McCarthy reveals the lasting effects of abuse and the healing God offers. Zoe also demonstrates the love and patience required to care for someone who tests that patience on a daily basis. This charming, thoughtful and thought-provoking book delivers on every level.

Landing In Love - The Mulvaney Sisters: Erin, by Mary Manners, takes us back to Mulvaney’s Irish Eatery for another tender love story. Erin Mulvaney, the youngest of three sisters, is overseeing the renovation of the second floor as well as all promotions and advertising for the Valentine’s Day event that will benefit the local library. Kyle Nolan is the master carpenter that will bring Erin’s vision to life. Mary Manners presents another charming encounter with the Mulvaney sisters, this time focusing on Erin. A well-developed story line and familiar characters continue to intrigue and inspire us. In the midst of lighthearted romance, faith is at the core of her characters.
