Author Biography

Born in and raised in Singapore, Author Magus Tor is a Freelance Medical Doctor (M.D.) by day, and a witty, thought provoking writer and game designer by night. It was by a strange, mysterious happenstance that he began writing in the year 2007. It was then that his first book, New Dawn, was written and published in 2008 by way of iUniverse (unpublished in 2014, to be re-worked and published in 2015).

After a writing hiatus spanning over the course of a few years due to him working on game development, Magus emerged back onto the writing scene with a vengeance, publishing yet another work of art-'D-Nine: Protectors of the Crown', after working on a card game called Dragon Nine Playing Cards. It is within real life and dreams that Magus Tor finds the inspiration for his most famous and thrilling novels, which can be a blessing...or a curse.

Although writing for Magus is a Love/Hate relationship, Magus Tor writes all of his stories and novels to keep you on the edge of your seat gripped with suspense, and dying to know what the next page holds. So, hang on to your seats and grab a Tor classic - it's about to be a bumpy ride.

Love Triangle: XY Version by Magus Tor and Carrie Lynn Weniger is a story of love, lies and deception. Sydney is about to graduate from college when her boyfriend Joe tells her he can’t be with her anymore because of her homophobia. Five years later, Sydney loses her job and finds another one the same day when she meets Samantha Martin. Samantha is the VP of a cosmetics company and, to the chagrin of all the other employees, shows Sydney more favor. Strangely, since she met Samantha, Sydney has been dreaming about Joe a lot. The two women get closer but things are not quite all they seem. Why is Joe intruding on Sydney’s thoughts so much? Just who is Samantha and why is she all over Sydney?

Love Triangle: XY Version by Magus Tor and Carrie Lynn Weniger was a very well written story. I like the fact that it wasn’t too long, but nothing was left out of it. I found it quite funny in places and, on occasion, I had to sympathize with the seemingly accident-prone Sydney. The story is concise but full of all the information you need to draw your own conclusions and, now I’ve read it, I can see that the clues were all there to point towards the twist near the end; a neat twist I have to say! Excellent book, great characters and well written. I would be interested in reading more stories from Tor and Weniger if there are any.
