There are 3 books in this box set.

"Tipping Point".

In the Tipping Point Malcolm Gladwell talks about how certain people, ideas, products, and trends can change the way people think and act.

Gladwell looks at the reasons behind why changes in our society often happen so suddenly, and completely change our way of thinking. How someone new can change the way things are done; improving it tremendously..for the better!

He looks at TV shows, fashion, marketing experts, and salesmen to explain how their ideas can change the course of history.

"Blink".

The story is about choices we make within the blink of an eye. This is called by Gladwell, "thin slicing". Gladwell talks about how some people can come to predict how things will turn out by using this "thin slicing." He shows how people can follow their instincts and win, while others stumble and fail.

In Blink he explains how those that "thin slice" filter out a few facts from an overwhelming amount of information, and come up with a definite and correct conclusion.

This book will change the way you think about thinking, and understanding why you make those quick decisions.

"Outliers".

This is a story of successful people, and how their success wasn't always dependent on those people being extremely intelligent or ambitious.

Sometimes success depends on when you were born, where you born, and sometimes your family! How does this make them different? Why are the Beatles, Bill Gates, New York lawyers, and star athletes so successful? Was it just hard work, or the luck of the draw? The success of these people is more complex than it appears to be!

Gladwell's explanation is fascinating, and exciting to think about and digest. It really does change the way we think about successful people! This story is a must read.

Malcolm Gladwell's stories makes you really think about things from a different, and more thought provoking way. What he says makes a whole lot of sense and is very eye opening. I loved these 3 books and would highly recommend them to everyone!
