Malisphere by Keisha Danielle is a measured, well-crafted story of the joys and perils of an orphan, a story about what the human heart can conceive when it is bent on revenge. Nikoleta Soter has shared the same home built in 1902 with many other orphaned girls, always wondering why her parents abandoned her and where they could be. But it seems that all her questions will be answered and her destiny revealed once she arrives at Amarian. Karina Kerusso is the princess who took her father’s throne after his death and has given Nikoleta’s parents the worst form of punishment. Now she is looking forward to her ultimate revenge and Nikoleta is the price to pay. Can Nikoleta outwit this dangerous woman bent on destroying her, and rescue her parents? Read this book to find out.

Keisha Danielle has written a beautiful story, a breezy read with captivating characters and a very strong plot. What makes the strength of this story is the powerful conflict and the depth of character. The plot in Malisphere is well designed and swiftly paced, with a setting that is exciting so readers can easily form mental images of the places they are reading about and get a clear idea of what it feels like to live there. The writing is great and I enjoyed the colorful prose, the fascinating descriptions, and the clear and unwavering tone of the narrative. This is a quick and delightful read with characters that stick in the reader's imagination strongly.
