Meet Desiree by Tonya Goring is a real-life story about the extreme life trials and tests that a woman went through while trying to not let her marriage fall apart. Imagine discovering that your husband has been married before, not once, not twice, but thrice and he did not tell you about any of these marriages until long after you were married. Matter of fact, Desiree did not learn about her husband's third marriage until after her first-born was twelve years old. Moreover, the marriages did not end without some kids that she still did not know of. While dealing with news of her husband's third marriage, Desiree received some devastating news from back home. Now she is dealing with her husband's deceit, an immense family tragedy, and teenage kids with all sorts of problems, hoping that she will have the strength to hold it together and come out on top.

Meet Desiree by Tonya Goring is a touching and inspiring story about a woman's struggle to keep her marriage together in the face of deceit, betray, family tragedy and overwhelming challenges. The story is deeply touching and draws a real emotional connection with the main character as she tries to face life's trials; it is simply admirable how she managed to live from one day to the next in the face of all the challenges, and how she managed to go on when many would have given up. The story also highlights how little things we learn as kids become significant in the face of challenges later in life, plus how love of family and faith in God can take you through your worst days.
