Memories by Steven Belden is a psychological thriller that will keep you hooked to the story. Cody Brannon was just seventeen years old when he had a near fatal accident. He stayed in a coma for 27 days, with his girlfriend Tiffany vigilant at his side, waiting for him to wake up. When he wakes up, he discovers that he now has a special ability. He can reach into other people’s minds and read their repressed memories that they would rather forget. When his mother was killed by the same person who caused Cody’s accident, he and Tiffany put all their strengths into law school and later join the FBI.

Now, with one a profiler and the other a lawyer, they work every day to put criminals behind bars. When they get the hint of a sex trafficking ring, they get all over the case. Cody's mother used to work with the sexually abused and used, and now he has the chance to carry on her legacy and give something back to her. But the case is bigger than they anticipated. A chain of lies and deceit has them ensnared. Can they crack the case and free the enslaved? Or will they lose everything and perish?

Memories by Steven Belden was simply fantastic. It is fast paced, gripping, and with a storyline that leaves nothing unanswered. I loved the way Tiffany and Cody worked together. They were truly a team. Where many novels have the woman as mere eye candy, Tiffany was not left to become just another bimbo. She was vigilant, resilient and courageous. That took the cake for me! This is a nice psychological thriller that grips the attention of the reader and makes for a perfect read. I truly enjoyed it!

Memories: A Brannon Series Novel is a Christian thriller written by Steven Belden. Cody Bannon was planning on celebrating his seventeenth birthday in a big way. His parents had given him a Harley-Davidson CVO Softail and he was on his way to pick up his girlfriend, Tiffney, to go for a ride. On the way there, however, he was hit by an SUV that left him broken and bleeding in the road. He had sustained serious injuries and was in a coma, but the vigil kept by his parents and Tiffney was joyfully ended when he recovered. But there was something different about him after his accident that he, at first, shared only with Tiffney. He seemed to have the ability to access the thoughts of others. His doctor assured him that his tests all came out fine, but told him to let his parents know about this unexpected gift.

Steven Belden's Christian thriller, Memories: A Brannon Series Novel, is entertaining and suspenseful. Cody and Tiffney are an engaging couple whose dedication and devotion to each other are bound to ensure that anything they tackle will be resolved exactly as they plan. It was enjoyable to watch as they came of age and began studying law. Belden's story is fast-paced and has plenty of action and adventure as the Bannons try to help young women who've had hard breaks in their past and ended up enmired in the sex-slave industry. The book's settings in the desert southwest and Colorado add to the appeal of this faith-based novel. Memories: A Brannon Series Novel is recommended for fans of Christian thriller fiction.

Memories by Steven Belden is a thriller fiction novel and is the first book in the Brannon Series of novels. It starts with a brief introduction to the Brannon family. We learn that Cody Brannon is a 17-year-old with a promising future. Cody and Tiffney Fisher are dating and both come from solid family backgrounds. However, all of this changes when a motorcycle accident leaves Cody in a coma. Cody wakes up from his coma after a few weeks to find out that he now has a special ability to know other people’s repressed memories. Cody’s mother is a volunteer at a shelter that helps victims of sex trafficking. Cody and Tiffney get involved in work that brings them in contact with the sex trafficking business as they both decide to study law to help prosecute criminals. This is their story about how they go on to work at the FBI, and the twists and turns that come their way as they crack a sex prostitution ring.

Memories by Steven Belden is a fast-paced novel that keeps one on the edge of their seats. The writing style is fluid and engaging and makes for a good read. I also liked the fact that it highlights an important issue in today’s world: that of sex trafficking or modern day slavery. I hope a book like this also spreads awareness about this important issue. Overall, this is a great read for anyone and especially readers who like books on law or crime. I am looking forward to the next book in the series.
