Minecraft Minions by Skittlez Bucket is a fun, lively children’s book that should leave grade-schoolers in fits of laughter. Zombie Minion brothers Top, Zop, and Crud have some zany adventures in the cave where they live. Top does the talking, while Crud can be just a little crude at times! Included in the 4 Books in 1 Adventure Book Bundle are The Adventures of Top, Zop, and Crud, a Halloween book, a book about Thanksgiving Dinner, and a Merry Christmas book. Each edition follows the brothers and their attempts to guard the family cave from outsiders. Especially fun was the Halloween book, including skeletons and a planned Halloween party. At Thanksgiving, a cow comes to visit with hilarious and lovable results. At Christmastime, the brothers attempt to decorate their cave for the holiday, and they learn what Christmas means to them as well.
Skittlez Bucket creates a humorous world filled with funny characters and events. There are many illustrations in Minecraft Minions Adventure Book Bundle which add to the stories and should keep children interested and engaged. The author also has a good technique by stopping every now and then to ask the reader their family traditions and what they like to do. Overall, the illustrations and the silliness of brothers Top, Zop, and Crud work perfectly for the intended age group, and these books should be welcomed by grade-schoolers who like to read and laugh. I recommend the book bundle for grade-school children of reading age and to grownups who are kids at heart.
