In More! by Tammie Rothermel, sixteen-year-old Nikki Moore led a peaceful existence with her parents in the woods of Oley Valley. However, one day in March 1964, she met a mysterious stranger fishing on the banks of a lake, someone that would turn her world upside-down. Nikki is unaware that the dark and enigmatic stranger is none other than Grant Henderson, the lead guitarist from the acclaimed rock band, the Merseymen. They are instantly attracted to each other, and although their six-year age difference is a concern to her parents, Nikki is soon drawn into the exciting world of rock bands, adoring fans, and media intrusion. Nikki and Grant manage to keep their relationship a secret, even after their marriage. But as Nikki tries to acclimate to her new life, it is not long before her own talent as a performer is recognized. Her career explodes, and she is faced with the perils of stardom. Nikki looks forward to a promising future when her world is suddenly torn apart and she has to face an ultimate betrayal. Just as Nikki is picking up the pieces of her life, she is offered a dangerous proposition and an encounter with a secret admirer.

More! by Tammie Rothermel encapsulates the deepest and darkest aspects of human relationships wonderfully. The plot continuously reveals layers of information and exciting plot twists. The characters have been created with a great deal of consideration to ensure their personalities are diverse and interesting. Nikki is an amazing character; her parents instilled such high morals and values in her as a child and these were apparent throughout her interactions with others. She possessed incredible emotional strength and intelligence and also kept her grace and dignity when faced with hurt and betrayal. I also thought Mary was a beautiful soul; she had fantastic perception and integrity. The band's manager and Grant were realistic personalities, and their actions were both believable and compelling. The dialogue was superb and relayed the emotions and mindset of the characters perfectly too. The plot reveals a darker side of fame and the negative aspects such as overbearing fans, media intrusion, and how financial gain overrides personal happiness. The ending was spectacular and filled with excitement and tension as Nikki becomes entangled in a dangerous situation. Her character develops gradually and realistically throughout the story, and the next chapter in her life is definitely going to be interesting.

In More! by Tammie Rothermel, when a random encounter by the lake in the quiet countryside brought two strangers together, sixteen-year-old Nicole Moore had no idea how much that moment would change the course of her life forever. Grant Henderson was immediately captivated by Nicole, but what delighted him more was her total cluelessness about who he was. Being a member of a world-famous music group rarely afforded him such moments. One thing led to another, and quickly Nicole left behind her sheltered countryside life to join Grant on the road with his band. However, when Nicole’s own music career suddenly catapulted, dynamics began to change, proving that mixing business with pleasure might not have been a wise idea.

More! by Tammie Rothermel is a fast-paced, captivating read that brings characters from two different worlds into the thrilling fast lane of fame, romance, and all the perks and vices that come with life in the limelight. With words ever so simple, Tammie Rothermel brings the characters' emotions to the surface, and throughout the story I could easily connect with Nicole’s feelings whether it be joyful moments or struggling with indecision. I especially loved how the main characters' initial encounter happened very early in the plot, immediately setting the pace for the rest of the story. Tammie Rothermel paints a vivid image of each scene; from the very start, I could clearly picture life in Oley Valley and then feel an immediate contact once the setting changed to Nicole’s new life away from home.

Sixteen-year-old Nicole was born into a well-grounded and balanced family. She had a mind of her own. One beautiful day, Nicole happened upon Grant at a lake where she enjoys her quiet time. It was love at first sight. Grant was the star of the Merseymen band, and his lifestyle was fast and intoxicating. Their relationship exposed Nicole to the craziest situations she had ever experienced. However, all was not rosy as the downsides rolled out. It got worse when her career took off. Will the glue called love be strong enough to hold Grant and Nicole together? From the teeming fans to espionage, grief, joy, loss, and so much more, it’s a life of adventure for Nicole. More! by Tammie Rothermel gives you a peek into the lives of stars–-the glitz, affluence, and tears!

Have you ever wondered what happens behind the scenes once your favorite celebrities and power couples take off the glitter? We see loved-up pictures on social media and think their lives are perfect. More! by Tammie Rothermel takes us behind the scenes, featuring adolescent love. I loved the plot because it had depth and was very realistic. Decisions have far-reaching consequences, which we must acknowledge. Most youngsters are impulsive and want to explore. Add fame to the mix and they lose sight of red flags. Tammie is a gifted storyteller whose writing held me spellbound. I couldn’t drop this book until I turned the last page. The character development was superb with great editing and dialogue that flowed effortlessly. I can’t wait to read what happens with Alexander and the agency. Write more, Tammie!

More! is an entertaining coming-of-age story written by Tammie Rothermel. Nicole Moore is a sixteen-year-old teen living in rural Pennsylvania whose life turns upside-down by a chance encounter with famed rockstar Grant Henderson, who sweeps her off her feet. After a burgeoning romance, Nicole marries Grant, traveling all over the world with him. With an album of her own, Nicole assumes the persona of Nikki and gains worldwide popularity. But her rise to stardom comes at a cost and takes a toll on her marriage as Grant becomes increasingly abusive. Meanwhile, a global organization approaches Nikki and wants to use her for covert missions. To add further complications, Nikki finds herself acquainted with a mysterious stranger with unknown motives.

More! is an entertaining tale of a young woman's struggles to come to terms with overnight stardom while navigating a toxic relationship. Author Tammie Rothermel's easily accessible and quick-paced narrative makes the book a breeze to go through. Nikki is a compelling protagonist whose evolution from a naive young girl to a confident and independent young woman keeps you engrossed throughout the pages. Her relationship with Grant plays a major role in shaping her into the woman she becomes later in life. The characters have distinct traits, and their complex motives give them a realistic flair. Nikki's support from her friends and family during her troubles felt like the book's highlight for me. I enjoyed More! and I will recommend it to readers who love coming-of-age stories.

More! by Tammie Rothermel is a modern take on Cinderella, rock and roll style! Our young protagonist, Nicole Moore, hails from the rural hills of Pennsylvania. A simple country girl, her average life is quickly turned upside-down after a chance encounter with celebrity Grant Henderson, lead guitarist of the world-famous rock group Merseymen. Love at first sight throws her into the glitz and glamor of a sizzling rock star's busy life. Eager to pursue her own musical career, she climbs her way to the top and eventually an incredible solo career. However, she'll soon find that celebrity life is not all it's made out to be. Amid the chaos in her life, Nikki confronts a mysterious stranger who pursues her from Naples to Hong Kong. To top it off, she's pulled into the treacherous world of espionage by the Agency.

A rock and roll princess and absolute girl boss, who can say no? Tammie Rothermel did an excellent job of showcasing how far her protagonist has come from a naive country girl to the strong, independent woman she is now. Confronting her past mistakes and inner demons, Nikki is someone I admire. Shining a light on toxic relationships, More! shows how such a partner can wear you down and prevent you from living up to your full potential. The novel also showcases the difficulty of telling the truth and its role in preserving a good relationship. I loved Nikki's support team, who watched her blossom into a famous star and had her back at all times.
