God called Moses to rescue his people. Moses was a simple man. He didn’t like to speak in public. “Would probably have preferred to sit on a scorpion rather than go and tell the powerful Pharaoh to let God’s people go.” So God sent Moses` brother Aaron to help him. The important thing is that Moses did just what God asked him to do. God was with him and he went “with great trust, bravery, patience, courage….a super-sized sense of humor.” Moses led God’s people out of Egypt. They complained the whole trip. What started out as a 40 day road trip turned into a 40 year wandering.

"Moses’ Memory Book" is a delightful children’s book. It takes the reader through the story of Moses, beginning with God’s call to rescue His people through turning over leadership to Joshua. I grew up hearing the Old Testament stories. I love to hear the retelling of them and to read them. This book will educate the reader, as well as entertain. Although the story is told in contemporary words, it does not lose any of its deeper meaning. The author has successfully explained the story for children from preschool to 12 years of age. The pictures are vibrant, bright and eye-catching.
