I once heard someone say they wished children came with an instruction book.  They do.  God has given us the instructions through scripture.  We are to use His example as our parent to parent our children.  Dianne Daniels shares six steps for parenting.  Each step is supported by scripture.

Our Heavenly Father is constantly at work in our lives.  Not only will this book assist you in parenting but will assist you in a closer walk with the Lord.

Some of the insights you will discover in Mothering Like The Father - Following God's Example In Parenting Young Children are, God is loving, patient, gives second chances, is fun and creative, holds us accountable, and challenges us to grow.  Raising a child is not for wimps.    It is challenging and rewarding.   We love our children and want to be the best parent possible.  The Father is waiting to show us how.
Mothering Like The Father - Following God's Example In Parenting Young Children is focused on mothers but the information is applicable for fathers also.  He style is easy to understand.   Daniels book will benefit all parents and grandparents.  It would make a great gift for parents to be.

This is an incredibly practical, down to earth parenting guide that actually focuses on how God parents us then describes ways to use those same parenting methods with young children. The theme and text are written based on a Bible-centered foundation without resorting to a preachy tone. It is concise, easy to read and in my opinion, an indispensable source of help for all parents, no matter the age of the child. I especially enjoyed the questions at the end of each chapter which help the reader unearth further gems of wisdom. As a Child Development major, educator and mother myself, I recommend it highly. I look forward to more resources written by Dianne!
