Niedentohl recalls her own experiences with anxiety, depression, and PTSD, remembers how her mother fell victim to Stage IV lung cancer, and utilizes those memories to lay out a comprehensive 30-day journal to help people going through a similar loss. Niedentohl provides readers with a set of mantras to overcome their mourning period and offers them a series of doable daily activities to better preserve the memories of their loved ones. The author also encourages readers to meditate and learn to let go of their grievances to lead fulfilling lives with the best memories of their friends and family.
