We have all told or been told scary stories, whether it was around a campfire or just for fun at home when the power went out. Author David Serra takes this genre to another level in Night Quirks. This anthology captures the reader's attention from the first page and first story to the very end and yet there are only two main characters. These characters are Adam, who likes to walk, and Marcus, a taxi driver. Their journey is long and full of stories, each one taking a turn. The characters in each story take the reader by the hand and hold it tight as the story unfolds, but the reader is left bewildered time and time again as the characters just disappear.

If you love reading and are game, Night Quirks by David Serra is an incredibly good read. From the first story to the last, the author has the reader on the edge of their seat as each one unfolds and then ends. But the reader has to keep reading, especially with all the twists in the tale. However, the main twist is at the end which is so unexpected that if it had been a movie everyone in the theater would have been stunned. David Serra draws the reader through the stories with his wonderful writing, keeping the reader’s attention for just so long and then bouncing onto the next one before the reader can get bored or put the book down. Thank you for an enjoyable read, David Serra. I enjoyed this book tremendously and feel privileged to have reviewed it. I highly recommend this book.
