Haszard’s life could have been just normal and beautiful with his soulmate, Sabrina, until he learns about the murder of Gerry, a friend who works at the florist shop. Haszard’s curiosity is piqued, as well as his innate desire for the truth, so he begins to do the one thing that shouldn’t be done in circumstances where the price of truth could be painful. Things start happening, and Haszard soon discovers that his own life could be hanging by a very thin thread. Every piece of evidence seems to point too close to home and Haszard will have to work harder to get to it before someone else gets to him. Kevin E. Hatt’s No Reason for Insanity is an interesting tale that will have readers hooked from the first to the last page.
No Reason for Insanity by Kevin E. Hatt is a gripping tale of love, crime, and a man’s unswerving pursuit for the truth and justice. Hatt has the gift of transforming ordinary characters into compelling heroes who immediately win the admiration and sympathy of readers. Haszard will be loved by fans of mystery and crime fiction for the way he allows his curiosity to steer him towards growth. The plot is littered with surprises and it moves fairly fast. The prose is beautiful and it leaps off the pages with ease. The tension starts from the very first page of the novel and builds up so fast that it will make readers feel the grip will loosen up soon, but which never happens. You’ll read this one to the end before you remember you started reading it at all.
