In Nothing More Beautiful, we meet 25-year-old bakery owner Maci who has never experienced the pleasure of an orgasm. She’s tried and failed with her previous boyfriends, the most recent of whom was a big fat cheater with a big ol’ member. Unfortunately, these failed attempts have left Maci a bit gun-shy when it comes to pleasure in the bedroom and this fear sends Maci to the world of online dating. After several uneventful dates, Maci meets Vince Forte, and Vince gets her blood boiling and her lady parts tingling in a big way. The attraction between them is instant and undeniable and they create a list of their hidden sexual fantasies. Lorelai LaBelle does a brilliant job of taking the reader on their sensual journey of pleasure, lust and, at some point, love.

Lorelai LaBelle has created some fantastic characters in Nothing More Beautiful, from Maci’s outspoken best friend Danielle to the bossy matchmaker. Initially I had trouble warming up to Maci as she was kind of depressing and…prudish. But once she was comfortable with Vince, the real Maci began to shine through. I also loved that Vince was not the typical hero in this kind of book, which made it far more appealing. If you go into this story thinking it’s going to be the easy love at first sight tale, you will be disappointed. The beauty of Nothing More Beautiful is that Maci and Vince come by their love honestly. They had to work at it, fight for it and survive attempts at sabotage before they got the love they desired. Overall, this was a story with lots of heart and plenty of hot sex; throw in a happy ending and this book is pretty solid.
