Nothing to be Scared of Little Monster by Steven Schuback is a charming story for little kids that will remove the fear they have in their minds of many things. The story begins with little Teddy scared of being alone in his room on a night of thunder and lightning. As Teddy hides under his blanket, he hears another scared little moan. He finds that he is not alone and there is a little monster in his room who is also afraid of thunder and lightning. Teddy goes to him and gives him a cuddle. They sit together and watch the lightning and understand that it is not as scary as they thought. And Teddy realizes that neither thunder nor monsters are scary.

It is a cute little story for kids that speaks to them about the fears they have. Teddy and the monster dispel the fear they have for thunder and lightning by sitting together and watching it through the window. The colorful illustrations give the characters and scenes movement and life and make it more visually captivating for kids. It is a beautiful bedtime story that can be read out to kids and grand-kids by parents and grandparents. It helps in easing their fear of thunder and lightning. I would recommend this book for school libraries and also for read-aloud sessions in classrooms. On the whole, a cute little story book that has a beautiful concept and themes which are useful for kids.
