First Intercontinental Planetary Travel is prepared to launch its maiden voyage into space, destination , Paradise. The planet has been described as the Garden on Eden. It has high snow topped mountains and clear blue lakes. The air is clean and breathable with no pollution. The animals and geography are similar to Earth. There are 10 months of daylight and 4 months of darkness. Paradise should be an excellent vacation spot for those in need of rest and relaxation. Traveling on the first voyage is a singer, her 3 sisters, two actors, politicians, doctors and a scientist, and a major crew, among others.

Lift off occurs safely, then an explosion. It was not an accident; it was sabotage. Half of the crew was dead. Only two escape vehicles survived. A planet lay ahead. The captain had to decide who to save, there was not enough room in the escape vehicles for everyone. The planet was an unknown factor. Would anyone survive?

On The Horizon is a fast-paced thriller. This book is a dramatic read. The characters are interesting and the excitement builds to a crescendo. Fans of science fiction will not be disappointed by On The Horizon.
