Emilia is getting to be an elderly woman now, but she wasn’t always. Now in her mid-seventies, she’s managed to create her own empire as a frozen food supplier after coming from a poor family that frequently found themselves dependent on the kindness of strangers. From living in Bari, Italy to Rome to Ethiopia, Emilia has traveled to many places, experienced many things and overcome many obstacles to become a true force to be reckoned with. But it is only because of her belief in God and her faith in Him that she has been able to do so much. Only in America by Emilia Zecchino is the story of how a dream and a drive can help anyone to accomplish miracles.

I was amazed by all of the things that Emilia had gone through in her life. It seemed like there was so much she was able to overcome through her childhood and on into her adult life as well. She’s an inspiring individual because, despite everything, she never gave up and she was willing to just keep working as hard as necessary to get the job done. From traveling all over the world to building a true empire of a company from the ground up, Emilia is someone that can and should be admired. I was amazed at her story and I know many other people will be as well. Only in America has become somewhat of a cultural cliché, but it’s amazing just how true it can actually be.
