Our Historic Moment by David Jaber is one of those books you wish everyone would read. If by some miracle you got them to read it, then you would probably want to take it a little further and have them believe it. You would want this because you know that if people believed and followed the advice and suggestions given in this book, we would in fact create a safer, cleaner, better world. To the optimist, this doesn’t seem like an impossible task, but in light of the fact that Donald Trump is the President of the United States, I’m going to go out on a limb and say that the kind of progress represented by the thinking of men like David Jaber is a little farther away than it was even a few months ago. This is not a reason to despair. Indeed, this fact may even consolidate and stiffen people in a counter action that can push progress forward again.
But whether times are good or bad, Our Historic Moment is a book to guide you toward a more positive future for all of us. David Jaber writes well. That is the first thing I noticed about Our Historic Moment. He also uses his words in such a succinct and powerful manner that he doesn't need a lot of them. Our Historic Moment is about 100 pages long, but these are 100 of the most powerful pages you will come across between the front and back cover of the same book. Organized, insightful, and optimistic, this is a book that can guide a generation to a brighter and better future.
