Pandemic Adventures with Pop Pop by Warren Martin is an adventurous book for young children based on the recent coronavirus pandemic, also known as "the sickness" in this story. Brothers Dean and Levi are no longer able to go to their usual fun places with Pop Pop, but Pop Pop comes up with new adventures to take them on. From taking walks in the park and getting muddy to discovering all kinds of insects and bugs, the fun never stops! Join Dean, Levi, and Pop Pop to see what other adventures they embark upon!
Author Warren Martin has created a fun picture book for young children. It has been a strange and scary time recently and children especially will have been impacted by all the changes and restrictions caused by the coronavirus pandemic. So it's nice to see stories like Pandemic Adventures with Pop Pop because it simply demonstrates how spending time with family and being outdoors can be just as fun as doing usual indoor activities. The book also shows how brothers Dean and Levi kept safe during their newly found adventures, which will teach children in real life how they can stay safe as it may still be confusing to them. A lot of time and effort has been put into this incredible book and the illustrations by Kat Powell are beautiful and sweet! I loved every page and every adventure written, and I hope to read the next installation of Pop Pop and the Grandmen. Keep up the good work!
