Wonderful! Shepard really hit the nail on the head with this book! She is great with putting the problems and struggles that 95% of women are dealing with into perspective and understanding... there is NO WAY I could have done better if I tried! She brings humor into the book, while trying to explain that, like most all women, she's not perfect- at motherhood, marriage of women in general.

She helps us, as women, to understand that it is OKAY to not be perfect. She incorporates her comedy, being a divorced single mom, and a working career woman into a really neat perspective called "permission slips" by showing us her experiences and how she handles them with these pieces of paper, giving herself "permission" to do things and that it is okay to do them!

I really liked reading Shepard's book. It helped me to see things about myself as a woman that I would normally have not paid attention to and that I'm not a perfect woman and it's OKAY. I think I'm going to take her technique of "permission slips" and really put them to use in my life. I'm also going to recommend this book to all the women out there who may be feeling overwhelmed with daily struggles and feeling unworthy of themselves because of past mistakes... I feel Shepard can truly help! And if you aren't struggling right now and you already know that women aren't perfect, and then I would still recommend this book because Shepard will have you rolling on the floor with laughter as she brings forth her comedian side in telling her story!!! Two thumbs up to Sherri Shepard's Permission Slips!!!
