Author Biography

Beth is a pediatric physical therapist and author. She has won multiple awards for her work in the Christian Fiction genre and is available for speaking engagements.

Quiver was written as a sequel to A Rose For Jonathan, but is a book that can stand alone, as it is a spin off from the original story. This book was written as an extension of the frustrations and difficulties Beth feels when trying to help the children in her practice. As a pediatric PT, many of the kids she encounters progress at a slow rate and it's a difficult journey for them. Her compassion to improve their lives led her to write this book about a young man with a spiritual gift to heal others instantly...but there is a catch.

Quiver: Angels and Demons Volume 2 by Beth Green is an action packed novel that has it all. It has action, it has adventure, it has love, and it has an epic tale that you will want to read till the end and wish for another page. I am simply blown away by the book and the sheer artistry of Beth Green. She did a tremendous job of creating characters that you can relate to and actually feel a connection with.

The novel follows Jonathan, a man with a supernatural gift that is beyond the comprehension of any mortal man. His powers are a gift, but sometimes they are a huge burden as well. His power attracts the attention of the Angels, but his power attracts Demons too. Now his powers are becoming a danger for the woman he loves and he cannot have that. So he leaves without telling her where he is going, and he becomes more familiar with his powers. Only now, he is a much bigger and easier target for the Demons. What will happen now that Jonathan is out there in the open? Can the Angels keep him hidden from the Demons? Or will he become an easy target before he can get complete control of his powers.

The Quiver: Angels and Demons Volume 2 by Beth Green is simply fantastic. Even though it is Christian fiction, anyone can enjoy it. As long as you are a fan of paranormal, action and adventure, you will love this novel. You will also love Jonathan for his determination and his desire to make things right in his life and the lives of the people around him. Beth Green did an amazing job with this novel and in creating Jonathan; he is a well rounded character that you respect a lot. This talented author has the gift of storytelling!

“Jonathan has Acute Myeloid Leukemia or AML.” These are the shocking words Dr. Lambert says to Jonathan’s parents, Harold and Laura, and they couldn’t think of anything worse. Little do they know that their son is a prodigy who would become a battleground for angels and demons. Yes, because Jonathan has an exceptional gift that angels want to preserve and that demons would do anything to destroy. Jonathan has abandoned his wife for her safety, but can he stay safe enough to redeem his gift and accomplish a mission he never asked for? Quiver by Beth Green is a powerful inspirational story that Christian readers will adore.

I was awed by this story and, as I read it, I could imagine a parallel world that exists with the physical, a world inhabited by powers we do not see. Beth Green’s novel invites readers to open the eyes of their soul and discover this world and the battles waged each day on their behalf. This is a story of love, of faith, and of destiny. The plot is well-conceived and masterfully executed, giving the reader no single moment to pause. Yes, it is gripping and the conflict is also very compelling. As I read this story, I had the strange feeling that I was reading my own spiritual story and a flood of emotions coursed through me — excitement, anxiety, hope, and at times, fear — for the protagonist. One wants to know how it ends at every turn, and the ending is very satisfying. Quiver is the story for anyone who wants to be inspired. It restored my faith in angels.

Quiver by Beth Green is the second book in the Angels and Demons series, a powerful blend of fantasy and inspirational with biblical references that add more flavor to the overall story for Christian readers. A story involving angels and demons could have been a bore to me, but out of curiosity I picked up this book and haven’t regretted a bit that I did. What was most startling about this title is the fact that the story isn’t conceived as an allegory; it’s a story that actually features angels and demons as real characters in an apocalyptic struggle to gain control over a single soul. Jonathan has a rare gift, one that could endanger the life of the one person he loves the most. So, to protect his wife he has to leave her, but that doesn’t solve the problem as he is plunged into an adventure where evil lurks around every corner and where angels might not be able to save him this time.

Quiver is the kind of book that will make readers shudder as they follow the spiritual journey of the protagonist. The author weaves the themes of love and family, faith and spiritual battles, heavenly bodies, the fight between good and evil in a masterful way. The characters are very compelling and the reader is attracted to Jonathan from the very start of the story as he moves surreptitiously through the hospital. The pacing is good and the entire narrative evokes powerful emotions. To think about demons watching people suffer and taking delight in it is a thought that doesn’t sit well, but the author makes it feel so real in this gripping tale. Beth Green’s writing is impeccably good and her narrative voice comes across with unshakable confidence. I enjoyed this inspiring and entertaining story.
