In a great new book by debut author Kim Chesney Negri, Remember What I Told You provides a wonderful guide for all, but perhaps especially for young adults, in living a positive and fulfilling personal life. Written in an easy to follow style that gives examples from scriptures as well as personal stories of faith and God's encouragement, this book is one that can be read from cover to cover, but can also be referred to periodically for a certain section that might pertain to an issue an individual is dealing with at that particular time. Any reader who is looking for guidance or inspiration would do well to purchase this lovely book.

I very much enjoyed Remember What I Told You. Author Kim Chesney Negri has done a great job in writing a beautiful spiritually oriented book that gives readers a great deal to think about and pray about. Readers with a strong love of Christianity will find a lot to love in Remember What I Told You, and any reader who is looking for a great guide for themselves or their loved ones should definitely get this book. I highly recommend Remember What I Told You, and I certainly hope that author Kim Chesney Negri will continue to write books with this focus. There is an obvious love and passion in her writing style, and she has a talent that makes it likely that she will not remain undiscovered for long!

Remember What I Told You by Kim Chesney Negri speaks to teens about choices made in life. The author tells her story about how her life changed after accepting God’s forgiveness. The book is designed to teach and develop a deeper understanding of God’s word. The format is set up with a scripture followed by an explanation of the scripture that includes personal stories, definitions, and interpretations of the scripture, followed by a short prayer at the close of each discussion. There are chapters of a roadmap on how to make time to study God’s word. Sharing of personal experiences helps to define the scripture further. The scriptures chosen center around building relationships and life’s challenges that most teens can identify with.

Remember What I Told You by Kim Chesney Negri takes the reader through several rituals found in some churches such as baptism, baby dedication and communion, carefully defining the why and often the how. The book is a 248-page read that focuses primarily on young people who are leaving home for the first time, going out into the world on their own. The author attempts to guide teens through biblical lessons, elaborating on the promise and strength of using the Word to find answers to life's circumstances. The author is candid about the challenges that teens will face, stating that they will not always make the right decision, and showing how to prepare for failure through knowing the deeper meaning of God’s word. The most profound part of the book is the section where the author asks questions that most adults dare not ask, then provides a roadmap to find an answer to the question. She asks common questions that a typical teen would ask such as “Do I need to go to church”?

Overall, the author did a good job explaining scriptures, sharing her personal stories, and emphasizing the need to read the Bible. This book is good for someone starting the journey of faith and believing in the deliverance of God's word. The book is an easy read and a page turner!

Remember What I Told You by Kim Chesney Negri is a very interesting, challenging and powerful read. Author Negri used the word of God as the basis of everything she has written about within her book. She is very encouraging and gives insightful thoughts concerning various scriptures, stories, and purposes found within the Bible. She quickly points the reader back to the word of God to find the answer for their situation that may be larger than they feel they can endure. She uses her personal stories along the way to help the reader see that she isn't above the struggles of life; rather, she has learned to lean upon the Lord for her divine strength to make it through that pressing situation.

Author Negri causes the reader to look closer at scriptures as they are challenged over and over throughout the book. When the reader looks closer at various scriptures, they will soon see how these relate to their life and how they can find strength and comfort from the word of God, thus causing the issue they are facing to lose much of its control and power. Every person needs to be reminded of this and author Negri does it in a very humble, non threatening and non preaching way. She leads the reader through life's stories and gives wisdom and insight on how to find help and healing for the present day. This excellent book has definitely stretched my faith and been a true source of encouragement.
