Al Hagan, aka, Uncle Dutch and Jeddie had been on the run for the last twelve years. He accidentally grabbed the saddle bag with the ransom money in it. He couldn’t return Jeddie to his parents because they would blame him for the kidnapping. Not only was the law after him but so was the kidnappers, Hardy Bragg and Mose Bricker.

Thirteen years later in a small Nebraska town Jed is in jail for attempted robbery and Uncle Dutch has been shot. Jed has no recollection of his family. All he knows is his Uncle Dutch and how he has protected him all his life. When strangers approached Uncle Dutch always told him to “Run Jeddie Run.”

Dutch finally tells the truth and where Jeddie’s family is located. Strangers appear in town. It’s a fight for survival. Will Jed finally return to his family in Chicago or will he stay close to the lavender-eyed girl has caught his attention. Will his knowledge and expertise at using a gun determine the fate of many others?

Run Jeddie Run is the 4th book in the Nebraska series by Alice Blue’s. The book is well written with a suspense filled plot to it. The characters are very easy to connect with. One can’t help but feel connected to Jeddie as a little boy and his sassy mouth. Recommend for all and especially those that enjoy the Historical-Western Genre.
