Sabrina’s Seduction is a work of romance fiction with BDSM relationships and sexual content and was penned by author Anna Hague. The novella continues the Love Strictly Tested series with this second volume, as central character Sabrina struggles to relate to her best friend after discovering she is a submissive in a BDSM relationship. But when her studies of the sociological implications of the lifestyle lead her to meet the dominant Cameron Terry, Sabrina starts to have curiosities and cravings of her own. As she struggles with the identity she thought she had versus these strange new desires, so begins Sabrina’s re-evaluation of what she truly needs from life.

This novella can be read as a stand-alone but also connects characters from previous works by the author. It gives a frank and eye-opening look at the psychology and temptation of the submissive lifestyle through the eyes of a young woman with a very conservative upbringing. Author Anna Hague does a great job with Sabrina’s initial characterization, creating a naïve but likable college student who reacts quite appropriately, shocked by the lifestyle she is suddenly thrown into. There’s plenty of realistic humor in the initial setup, and when Sabrina begins to understand and participate in the submissive role, fans of BDSM erotic fiction will not be disappointed by the variety of scenes and the intensity of passion with which Hague writes. For its intended audience, Sabrina’s Seduction is sure to prove an exciting, intriguing and highly re-readable work of fiction.

Sabrina's Seduction, Book Two of Love Strictly Tested by Anna Hague, focuses this time on Emma’s best friend, Sabrina. Sabrina, ‘Bri’ to her friends, is a subdued student raised in a strict family. She wants to understand Emma’s chosen lifestyle to be a submissive to her dominant husband. To bridge the gap of knowledge and understanding between them, Sabrina decides to do a study on BDSM for her Master’s thesis in Sociology. Enter Cameron Terry, who Sabrina sees spanking a submissive during a BDSM play party, and pulls her deeper into the unknown, exciting BDSM lifestyle. What started out as pure intentions to gain new knowledge and understand her best friend’s private world quickly spirals into uncontrollable desire when Sabrina finds herself intrigued, excited, and caught on the edge of fear and pleasure.

Sabrina’s Seduction is the perfect title for the story of Sabrina’s journey of self-discovery and eventual ‘seduction’ to the BDSM side. Anna Hague’s second book on Love Strictly Tested is sharply written and unforgettable. The adventures of an awkward, almost thirty-year-old woman into a world that confuses and sometimes scares her is an intriguing concept that had me hooked all throughout the ride. Hague has really outdone herself this time and her characters develop and blossom well throughout the story. For me, Sabrina’s emotional turmoil and inner conflict, as she considers what is moral or immoral based on her strict upbringing and repressed feelings, is one of the many highlights of this story. Sabrina’s Seduction is a hot, alluring, and electrifying book that expertly balances the thrill of discovering BDSM with its characters’ emotional depth and growth. This book is definitely a reader’s snare that I found hard to escape.

Sabrina's Seduction is the second book in the Love Strictly Tested series by Anna Hague, a sizzling romance with an engaging plot and sophisticated characters. Sabrina is doing her Master's thesis in sociology and, intrigued as to why someone would want a dominant husband, she chooses to do research on BDSM. All she needs is Emma's help with her research. Emma and Jordan take her to a party. While she doesn't feel comfortable about the party, she manages to interview a sub. But there is more here than what she bargained for. How she winds up with Cameron is a twist that readers will enjoy discovering.

Anna Hague creates a story that readers can relate to because she keeps her characters real. The narrative is done in a compelling first-person voice, following the point of view of the protagonist, and it draws the reader in. The prose is gorgeous, punctuated by lively conversations. I loved Sabrina and Cameron. And it is interesting how Cameron helps her come to grips with her suppressed desires. Readers encounter a strong female protagonist, a woman who is guarded at the beginning of the story but whose curiosity leads her on a path she never thought she could walk. The scenes are beautifully described and the author captures details in the story without sacrificing the bigger elements of the plot. Yes, this novel contains mature content and is written for readers with open minds when it comes to sex. It is steamy and emotionally rich. One of those books you want to read in the privacy of your bedroom.
